Nural sensors:
A network of sensors built into the Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer automatically activates new features to optimise your styling routine.

Scalp protection mode:
When activated, the ToF (Time of Flight) sensor measures the distance between the hairdryer and your scalp, automatically adjusting the temperature of the airflow by reducing the heat as the hairdryer gets closer to your hair.

Accessory learning function:
It uses a Hall sensor to recognize which styling attachment is connected, automatically selecting the settings from the last use. Smart attachments are preset with recommended airflow and heat settings, which you can always adjust and customize. When activated, Scalp Protection Mode overrides the heat settings used during the last styling session.

Pause detection function:
It uses a motion-sensing accelerometer to detect when the appliance is set down during styling. This automatically deactivates the heat and reduces airflow and noise.

Capsule lighting LED:
The internal LED changes color from blue to red to indicate the current heat setting. When using attachments compatible with scalp protection mode, if the scalp protection mode is deactivated, the capsule lighting will turn off.

Dyson Hyperdymium Motor:
It reaches speeds of up to 110,000 rpm. Thanks to Air Multiplier technology, it produces a controlled jet of high-pressure, high-velocity air for fast and precise styling.
