Dyson Airstrait dries and straightens simultaneously, starting from wet hair. Without hot plates. It dries hair, creating the final style directly, with a single product.

Without hot plates, only with air:
The Dyson Airstrait uses high-pressure airflow to straighten hair while drying. The air is precisely heated and spread evenly across sections of hair as you style, without the need for extreme heat. The airflow is directed downward at a 45° angle to create the tension needed to align hair and create a smooth style, reducing damage and breakage. When used on wet hair, compared to hot plate straighteners that use extreme heat.

Intelligent heat control:
Glass-encapsulated thermistors, located in the arms of the machine, regulate the temperature of the airflow up to 16 times per second, to prevent extreme heat damage and protect the natural shine of your hair.

Dyson Hyperdymium Motor:
The 13-blade motor spins at up to 106,000 rpm, pushing 11.9 liters of air into the appliance per second. It generates a pressure of 3.6 kPa, enough to straighten hair while drying.

Automatic pause:
After three seconds of inactivity, the machine automatically pauses, saving energy between passes. To reactivate the airflow, simply move the product.

Styling from wet hair:
Straighten and dry your hair at the same time. Three temperatures (80°C, 110°C, and 140°C) allow you to create the perfect style starting from wet hair, using just one tool.

Dry hair styling:
Touch up your style on dry hair. Style at 120°C or 140°C, or with the optional Boost mode for maximum styling efficiency.

Intuitive airflow:
The Dyson Airstrait detects hair inside the arms and automatically reduces airflow when it's gone, for quieter styling and more energy efficient use.

LCD Screen:
The high-definition color screen shows airflow and temperature settings, for easy styling.

Lock function:
Slide the button to lock and unlock the arms. Use the straightener with the arms closed to gently partially dry your hair and create volume from the roots.
