The PlayStation VR virtual reality headset, model MK4 (CUH-ZVR2EW) included in the box has some changes made to improve the player experience:

- The headphone jack has been moved directly to the back of the helmet.
- The cables connecting the VR to the Processor Unit are now a single thin wire, for easier connection.
- New headphone holder directly integrated into the helmet, to safely store earphones when not in use.
- The Processor Unit supports HDR even when VR is off, allowing you to enjoy HDR content without having to disconnect the unit.
